Horse Judging Team

The Horse Judging Team is looking for new members!  You need to be a 4-H member, but you do not need to be in a Horse club.  This is a great learning opportunity and it is not expensive to take part in. 

Where the Club Meets: The club travels to horse farms in the local area.

Advisors: Jeannine Palozzi

Club Focus: The concentration is on Horse conformation and learning to judge performance classes.  There is a Junior Team and a Senior Team.  The Seniors give oral reasons for judging decisions.

Club Activities: The Horse Judging Team goes to the Ohio State Fair and competes.  They have won Second Place in State!  The Senior team places almost every year.  Individuals have been in the top ten placings, as well.

For Community Service, the club has had a Benefit Horse Show once a year.  They have donated thousands of dollars to the Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center.
