Flockmaster’s Minutes
March 20, 2007
7 p.m. - Burton Fairgrounds

21 members attended the meeting.  Mary Madeline called it to order.  The treasurer’s report was $578.53.

The movie night committee has decided to change the date and time of the movie and will have to meet again.  We discussed the club charter during the meeting too.  All turkeys should have already been ordered.  The club is trying to figure out what community service we should do.  So far we have decided to pick from Earth Day and the nursing home.  The club has also been thinking of some activities we could do this year.  Some are: the zoo hospital, canoeing, bowling, and amusement parks.  Some members will be finding out the details on the activities.

The By-laws had been amended and were read over.   Our club will try to earn the Honor Club Reward this year.  Monika will be keeping track of the requirements.  There will be a snack sign-up sheet soon, but for now Adam will be bringing the drinks and Jessica will bring a snack.

April 12th at the Patterson Center is the next Sales Committee Meeting.  We need people from our club to represent us there.  Make sure to order chickens and ducks by April 15th.  Don’t forget to fill up your grocery bags for the contest!  All items will be donated to the Geauga Hunger Task Force.  The member who fills up their bag with the most items will win a prize.

Kyle motioned to adjourn the meeting and Colin seconded it. The club then played 4-H Jeopardy, which was provided by Kalyn, with the categories Sheep and Poultry. Snacks were given out.
