Coyotes Shooting Sports

This is the eighth year of our club's existence. The emphasis this season is on the Archery discipline.

When the Club Meets: Every week January-May. Indoor archery sessions are held in Bainbridge and outdoor fun shoots are held at the Geauga Bowmen Club in Chesterland and Punderson State Park in Newbury.

Advisors: Kirk Bacon

Club Purpose:

1. To teach the safe and responsible use of firearms and archery equipment including sound decision-making,self-discipline and concentration.

2. To encourage an understanding of natural resource concepts such as conservation vs. preservation through the ethical and rewarding pursuit of hunting.

3. To support existing hunter-safety programs.

4. To support and serve local wildlife programs and organizations including ODNR, DU, WTU, sportsmen clubs and sporting businesses.

Club Focus: Archery and Trap Shooting. Members also learn hunting instruction and natural resource information.

Club Activities: Middlefield Rib Burn Off in August and Geauga County Fair
