All Cooped
Up
All Cooped Up has been in existence well over 10 years. We love to see generations of families remain as well as welcome any new members. Not only do we encourage our kids to enjoy their animals, but to understand that raising an animal is quite educational. The younger members work with senior members to help further their skills.
When club meets: Once a month on Tuesday evenings starting in March. The time is from 4:30-6:00 and in May till August our time slot changes to 7:00-8:30. Our meetings are held at our member’s homes. Additional meetings will be scheduled if necessary.
Advisors: Susan Miller, Ed Rumburg, Donna Weber and Linda Hickey-Cloverbuds
Feel free to contact any of our advisors for further information.
Club Projects: Fancy chickens/ducks as well as Market chickens/ducks and turkeys.
All 4-H participants are required to complete a book for their animal project. We also like to advise our members that they may take on additional projects such as sewing, woodworking etc. The yearly Family Guide available at the Patterson Center in Burton can assist you in your choice if you choose to do so.
Club Activities: Community service that has involved assistance at a cat sanctuary, roadside trash cleanup, making of organic dog treats and walking dogs at our local shelter.
